Job Purpose
Provide janitorial cleaning services for assigned accounts based on contracted customer schedule and task list; Provide cleaning services on project basis to existing and one-time customers as needed.

- Be available during agreed upon weekly schedule to provide cleaning coverage to accounts assigned by the company (i.e. scheduling could include daytime, nighttime and/or weekend work based on what is agreed to with employee prior to, or during, employment with the company)
- Work independently without the need for supervision or on team with two or more cleaners
- During certain times, the company may offer additional work beyond normally scheduled part-time hours and acceptance of this additional work is at the discretion of the employee
- Understand company policies, wage and pay agreements, clocking into/out of a building, vacation/sick and absentee policies as related to the Cleaner position
- Maintain secure custody of all assigned account keys per company policy
- Notify Supervisor or Janitorial General Manager concerning any known problems with an account that might require follow-up with key contact(s)
- Learn all facets of cleaning processes to ensure customer expectations are met or exceeded
- Complete account task schedules within the hours budgeted or less
- May be asked to assist with start-up of new accounts as needed, and based on availability
- Accounts may be re-assigned, from time to time, by the company to best utilize resources and available Cleaners
- Use on site log books for communication with Supervisor and customer contacts
- Notify Supervisor of need to replenish inventory and supplies stocked in each building
- Ensure Janitor closets or storage space at all accounts remain clean and orderly
- Keep all equipment in good working order and advise Supervisor if repair/replacement needed
- Perform all Green Cleaning and Capture and Removal processes skillfully and proficiently
- Take ownership of accounts being cleaned and ask questions of Supervisor or managers if layout of building(s) and/or task schedules are not fully understood
- When in doubt on how to handle a specific task or situation with an account, contact the Supervisor for follow-up instructions prior to proceeding
- Provide own transportation to/from accounts and be available to clean accounts within an agreed upon territory (i.e. Denver Metro Area)
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual preferred
- Minimum of completed High School degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year industry related experience preferred
- Capable of assisting with any and all type of cleaning duties when needed
- Able to communicate at basic level
- Positive and proactive attitude
- Able to follow instructions, yet think independently and responsibly when needed
- Detail oriented
- Must possess clean driving record and have access to own transportation (public transportation is acceptable as long as the company is able to assign accounts that accommodate this mode of travel)
